Speaker's Biography: Sandro Schipani is a world-renowned scholar of Roman law. He is an honorary professor at the Università degli studi La Sapienza di Roma, honorary professor at the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina and the Catholic University of Peru. He is the founder and director of the Latin American Law Research Center at the Università degli Studi di ROMA “Tor Vergata”. He is also a member of the World Roman Law Communication Group and the National Research Council of Italy. Professor Sandro Schipani has published nearly a hundred articles in international journals and more than twenty influential books. Over thirty of his works have been translated into Chinese. His research focuses on Roman law, Roman public law and modern civil law.
