Speaker’s Biography: Sebastian Omlor is a law professor at the University of Marburg. His research mainly focuses on civil law, commercial law, banking law, and comparative law. Sebastian Omlor and his team explore and teach civil law, particularly the German Civil Code, as well as private commercial law in Germany and Europe. His research in commercial law focuses on company law, banking law and capital market law, with a special focus on money and its manifestations, and the impact of globalization and digitization on private law. Professor Omlor and his team have a diverse research and teaching portfolio, along with numerous publications.
