On October 27, 2000, the Arbitration Moot Court- Perception of China from Judicial Experience, sponsored by the China Scholarship Council and organized by the China University of Political Science and Law, was grandly held. Those who were invited as attendees included international students from five universities, namely, China University of Political Science and Law, East China University of Political Science and Law, Shanghai University of Political Science and Law, Dalian Maritime University, and Zhongnan University of Economics and Law.
Upon receive the invitation, the Law School teacher Ding Hantao, assumed the role of coach, leading a team of four international students: Habiba Yaouba from Cameroon, Aayur Phuyal from Nepal, Emanuel Mensah Aboagye from Ghana, and Freire Boucas D Oliveira Elsa from Sao Tome and Principe. Ding meticulously guided the team members in their participation, arranging rehearsals for better adaptation and exceptional performance. On the day of the competition, they received unanimous praise from the arbitrators and observers from the National Scholarship Council. Moreover, the team was rated as “Outstanding”, and our university was awarded the “Excellent Organization”.
The National Scholarship Council expressed their intention to invite the team for the upcoming Invitational Moot Arbitration Competition for Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao Students in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province.
