On March 25, the International Education School and the Law School jointly held an online information session for international students’ enrollment (Indonesia), with Wang Zhengjun, the Vice Dean of the International Education School and Jiang He, the Vice Dean of the Law school as livestreaming guests and Chen Huafei, the international student counselor, as participants. It attracted over 100 prospective international students from Indonesia to communicate online, with the assistance of Chinese Testing International Co.,Ltd authorized by Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education.
At the session, Jiang first gave a basic introduction about the Law school, covering history, faculty, program, scientific research, international exchanges and student work. The enrollment and features of the international student programs was detailed by two majors as examples- the International Law and the Intellectual Property Law. Subsequently, Wang provided explanations and supplementary information on the school’s enrollment policy, scholarship and admission application. At last, two guests offered answers to the attending students’ online questions about majors, admission application.
In conclusion, this online information session has realized direct, timely and effective communication between school and international students, expansion of enrollment channels, and an enhancement of the reputation of the Law School. It can be regarded as a conducive exploration for international student enrollment promotion in the post-epidemic era.
