On June 19th, the Law School held the second round of online interviews for the admission of international students for the 2023 academic year, with participants from countries such as Pakistan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Comoros, Ghana, Ethiopia, Malawi, and Morocco. The interview panel was composed of eminent scholars and educators: Professor Jiang He, Vice Dean of the Law School, Professor Xu Weigong, Professor Lei Yidan, Associate Professor Huang Zhihui, and Lecturer Ding Hantao, while Teacher Hu Ting, Director of the International Office, served as the interview secretary.

This online interview included three parts-self-introduction, question and answer, and interactive communication. To ensure the quality of international students, the School of Law established an interview assessment team, rigorously adhering to interview standards and selection procedures. Comprehensive evaluations were conducted on applicants based on their language proficiency, reasons for application, learning attitude, career preference, interests, and study plans. Through the interviews, the panel gained a profound understanding of the applicants demeanor, language proficiency, academic interests, and background, laying a rock-solid foundation for the final selection. During the interview, the applicants expressed fervent desires to pursue their academic aspirations at ZUEL.
