Course Objectives |
l The objectives of this course are： 1. to understand and master the fundamental concepts, principles and systems of international business law, and be familiar with some important international commercial treaties and practices as well as relevant domestic legislation.
2. to have the basic ability to use the fundamental principles and methods of international business law to observe, analyze and solve the relevant legal problems in international commercial practice.
3. to master the basic methods for further studying international commercial legal issues.

Course Description (200 words) |
International Business Law in English is a professional course for foreign students majoring in international law. This course mainly teaches the international business legal system, contract law, international sales of goods law, international cargo transport law, international cargo transport insurance law, product liability law, agency law, business organization law, intellectual property law, international commercial arbitration law, etc. Through the study of this course, foreign students are required to focus on mastering the fundamental theories, principles and systems of international business law, so that they can comprehensively understand the basic knowledge of international business law and relevant specific practices, be familiar with some important international commercial treaties, practices and relevant domestic laws, and have the methods and basic capabilities to solve international commercial legal problems. It will lay a solid foundation for foreign students to engage in legal research and practical work in the field of international business in the future. In order to achieve good results in this course, the teaching methods adopted in this course mainly include analysis and comparison, case teaching and classroom discussion. Foreign students studying this course should have good knowledge of civil law, business law, private international law and procedural law.

Assessment Methods |
1. Testing The final test is in the form of writing a short research paper of between 5000 and 6000 words. The teacher will distribute a list of topics three weeks prior to the end of the semester. These topics cover the most important contents of the course. The student will choose one of the topics and finish the writing within two weeks. 2. Grading Policy The final grade of a student will be determined by the following: • Participation 10% • In-class presentation 20% • Case Study 20% • Final Exam 50%
